Lexora is an online learning platform provided by Inkvi LLC (“Lexora”). Our Services encompass a wide range of language learning content and courses, catering to beginners as well as advanced learners. This content is accessible through applications (“Apps”) designed for various operating systems, which can be downloaded on mobile devices, laptops, and tablets.

This Privacy Policy outlines the types of personal data (as defined below) we collect through the Services, how we use and share that data, and the choices available to you regarding our data practices.

1. Personal Data That We Collect

When you interact with our Apps, we collect information that, either on its own or when combined with other data, can be used to identify you (“Personal Data”).

Personal Data You Provide to Us

When you sign up for or use the Services, you voluntarily give us certain Personal Data, including your name, email address, username, and profile picture. If you register for an account through your social media account (including Facebook and Google Sign-in), you may see which of your friends are using the Services. The information we get from these accounts depends on your settings and the privacy policies of the social media platforms, so please check those policies to understand the privacy practices of those platforms.

If you buy a Lexora subscription, you may be asked to provide payment information (including payment card number, security code associated with the card, expiry date), to one or more of our payment service providers (please see “Sharing and Disclosure” section below).

When you use the Services, you may generate learning data such as test answers, learning scores, and progress within a course, which we will collect and store for use in connection with the Services.

Please note that to answer certain tests - namely, those which form part of pronunciation mode and the Communicate feature - you will need to submit voice data, which we will also collect and store for use in connection with the Services. If you would not like us to receive this data please do not use these features.

Automatically Collected Data

When you use the Services, the following information is created and automatically logged in our systems:

  • Log data: Information (“log data”) that your browser or the Apps automatically send when you visit the Website or use the Apps. Log data includes your IP address (to determine the country from which you are accessing the Services), browser type and settings, the date and time of your request, and details about how you interacted with the Services.
  • Cookies: Information collected through cookies and similar technologies stored on your device. For more details, please refer to the “Cookies” section below.
  • Device information: Includes the type of device you are using, its operating system, settings, unique device identifiers, network information, and other device-specific details. The information collected may vary depending on the device and its settings.

5. Update Your Information

You can update or correct your Personal Data directly through your user settings in the Lexora app. You can also permanently delete your account and all associated data within the mobile app. If you need assistance with managing your data, please contact us.

6. California Privacy Disclosures

We may use cookies or other technologies that collect information about your browsing activities over time and across different websites. We currently do not respond to “Do Not Track” (DNT) signals and operate as described in this Privacy Policy whether or not a DNT signal is received.

Lexora does not knowingly collect Personal Data from children under the age of 13. If you believe that a child under 13 has provided Personal Data to Lexora through the Services, please contact us and we will endeavor to delete that information from our databases.

The Apps may contain links to other websites not operated or controlled by us (“Third Party Sites”), including social media websites and services. The information you share with Third Party Sites will be governed by their specific privacy policies and terms of service, not by this Privacy Policy. By providing these links we do not imply that we endorse or have reviewed these sites. Please contact those sites directly for information on their privacy practices and policies.

We implement reasonable administrative and technical measures to protect your Personal Data from loss, misuse, unauthorized access, disclosure, alteration, or destruction.
